Vintage Starfleet Communicator prop from Star Trek: The Original Series (1966-1969).
Made of plastic and aluminum with brass hinges and vented flip-screen, which opens to reveal an aluminum mid-plate featuring foil mesh mic grill and 2 stud buttons, a round moiré-patterned bezel, and 3 posts containing 3 faceted gem lights. Retains black male velcro for attaching the communicator to a costume. Measures 4.25" x 2.5" x 1.25". Sold at auction in 2023, from the Collection of Greg Jein.
